All About Cassiopeia

Cassiopeia is a fully equipped Bavaria 42 sailing yacht based at the Port Sidney Marina the premier marina in downtown Sidney.  Cassiopeia is available for bareboat charter through Cooper Boating.

Sidney is located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada and is served by ferries from the B.C. mainland and the US.   Sidney is in the heart of excellent cruising in the sheltered waters of Gulf Islands (Canada) and San Juan Islands (USA) and within a day or two's voyage of the West Coast of Vancouver Island.  The Port Sidney Marina is close to shopping and only a short cab ride from the ferries and the Victoria International Airport (YYJ).  Click here for more information on the marina and the area.

Cassiopeia is equipped with a zone-controlled forced air furnace, a full enclosure, full electronics, and furling main and jib for comfortable and safe sailing year-round and in any sort of weather. 

With all lines led aft, this boat is easy to sail single-handed.  With the  deep keel and new sails, Cassiopeia sails exceptionally well upwind.
